In an emergency let 911 know the location of caller.
According to pending legislation, operators of PBX equipment will be required to route 911 calls and precise location information to the appropriate local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) when 911 is dialed.
The location information sent to the PSAP must indicate the precise location of the caller (e.g. to the building, floor, room level, or any other user-identifiable area).
This location information must specify an area/zone no greater than 7,000 square feet in size.
